It is seven days to voting day. I listen to people's conversations in stores, shops and on the radio about who they want everyone to vote for. Democrat or Republican, don't hear all that much about the independents. Well how about NONE OF THE ABOVE! I would really love to see someone who is actually not Harvard graduate but a 'School of hard knocks' graduate instead. Someone who has run a business, dug a ditch, been broke and knows what it means to actually struggle through life. Someone who has looked at the money they have in hand and try to decide how to get 10 dollars worth of food for 3 dollars. Instead we see these people who don't really have a clue what it is to struggle. They go to the big bad Washington and begin to think they are above everyone else. News flash, they are no different then you and me. But I really do not see anyone who matches my definition standing up, so..... I will have to try my best to figure out who is going to make the best decisions for me and my minor children. OH yea, least I forget, also is going to be making the decisions for all the people who won't go out and vote. Whew, what a heavy load that would be if you really sat back and viewed it like that.
OK so this is what I do know.. I don't want to live in a socialistic country where I am told what to do and what my family is going to do. I like being FREE and I really like the fact that if I work hard, or have an imagination, or highly motivated I can become anything I want to become. I remember an episode of Mork and Mindy, where as youngsters they had to go infront of a panel and this panel is what made the decisions for them as to what career field they would go into. Think about it, you have talents as a artist, and you are told you are going to be a pro-wrestler.
